BISHOP RUSSELL REFLECTS ON JOHN 2:13-4:54, for the second week's readings for the Good Book Club, January 12-18.
"This week's readings harken to the idea that Jesus came into the world, not to start a religion, but to restore relationship - to restore our relationship to God. So, I want to ask you to take some time to think about your relationship with Jesus. Is it more of a religious matter or is it something more? If it is more, and you seek to have that kind of sense, what might happen - what might need to be let go or taken on for it to happen?"
