Dear clergy and senior wardens in charge of congregations, Below are links to important memos and information for our 55th Annual Diocesan Convention. Please read over the details carefully and communicate pertinent details to members of your congregations. Some key dates are quickly approaching. Initial Convention Information Packet Included in the packet, you’ll find information and instructions for completing all necessary Convention forms; we ask that you submit them to the Diocesan office by the dates provided. Hotels Each church is responsible for ensuring appropriate accommodations for its delegation. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at several nearby hotels. Upcoming Due Dates Resolutions to Amend Canons Due by Saturday, November 29, 2025 Submit resolutions using this form. Registration and Certificate of Election of Lay Delegates Opens Tuesday, December 2 The certification of delegates, voting clergy, and lay delegate registration and payment will all be completed in a single, combined online form. Churches are asked to complete this form and will be provided instructions. Per Canon, elections of delegates are to be held and certified 60 days prior to the start of Convention, which is Monday, December 29, 2025. Please plan your elections accordingly. There will be a separate registration for all other guests, also opening on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Registration for delegates will close on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. All other guest registrations will close on Saturday, February 12, 2026. General Resolutions Due by Tuesday, January 13, 2026 Submit resolutions using this form. 2025 Congregational Pledge Request Due by Tuesday, January 13, 2026 Request form will be mailed soon to churches. Standing Committee Member Nominations Due by Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Submit nominations using this form. General Convention Deputy Nominations Due by Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Submit nominations using this form. Pre-Convention Meeting Sunday, February 1, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT - Zoom Voting clergy and lay delegates are asked to attend this one pre-convention meeting via Zoom. It will be recorded. Link will be emailed closer to the meeting date. Pre-convention meetings are used as an informational forum to discuss matters such as the diocesan budget, pre-filed resolutions, upcoming bishop's priorities for the year, what to expect as a delegate attending Convention, and how to use the online voting application among other important topics.
