MOB Pacers / BFL 5K Run and Walk

On Saturday, April 29, 2023, the MOB Pacers and Christ Church Cathedral, Baptized For Life, hosted their inaugural 5K Walk/Run. There were over 200 runners registered. The MOB Pacers want to thank everyone who helped make the race a success, especially race coordinators Jill Chow, (Christ Church Cathedral), Carl Cunningham Jr., (Christ Church Cathedral), Nichole Andrews Edwards (MOB Pacer), and Brandon George (MOB Pacer).

Congrats to the race winner Tony Gatter!

The MOB Pacers is a walking club birthed out of quarantine in 2020. It has been proven that walking with others can keep you motivated, improve your accountability, and help you meet new people with similar goals. Christ Church Cathedral has been the home base for the MOB Pacers since late July 2020. The MOB Pacers and Christ Church Cathedral, Baptized For Life, continue to foster mind, body, spirit, and health with weekly walks through downtown Mobile, midtown Mobile, and the Oakleigh Historic District. The MOB Pacers depart from Christ Christ Church Cathedral Monday - Thursday at 5:45 p.m. All Are Welcome!

A special thank you to Carl Cunningham, Sr., Lisa Drew, Rayford Etherton, Carolyn Jeffers, John Leach, Bo Mattei, Lacy Radcliff, Leigh Taylor, Dean Beverly Gibson, and the Rev. Eric Zubler.
