1. Licensed Lay Leader Offerings
Planning worship and programming in a lay-led church? You don’t have to do it alone! These one-hour Zoom gatherings offer practical help for looking ahead, planning for the seasons of the church year, and sharing ideas with other lay leaders.
Meetings are the second Monday of each month from 6–7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

b. Licensed Lay Leaders Zoom — Monthly
Licensed Lay Leaders are invited to gather on Zoom each month for conversation, connection, and a little troubleshooting! We’ll check in on what’s happening in our churches, look ahead to the coming month, share experiences, and explore upcoming readings and seasonal highlights.
Meetings are generally held on the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Upcoming dates include October 19, November 16, December 21, February 15, March 15, April 19, May 17, and June 21. The January gathering will be January 25 because of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

c. Licensed Lay Leader Quarterly Workshop
Sometimes Zoom just isn’t enough! Licensed Lay Worship Leaders and Preachers are invited to gather in person for half-day workshops throughout the year. These gatherings offer continuing education, refreshers, updates, practical learning, and—just as importantly—a chance to spend time with fellow lay leaders from around the diocese.
Gatherings are planned quarterly, with upcoming dates including October 17, December 12, March 6, and a June date to be announced. There will also be a bonus opportunity to gather during Diocesan Convention. Locations and additional details will be announced as plans are finalized.
2. Evangelism Offerings
a. Evangelism Lunch & Learn — Monthly
Grab your lunch and your laptop and spend an hour thinking creatively about evangelism! These informal Zoom gatherings will explore practical, approachable ways churches can build relationships, connect with their communities, and share the Good News.
The Evangelism Lunch & Learn meets on the third Thursday of each month at noon. Upcoming conversations will explore topics such as schools, book clubs, community partnerships, community presence, food pantries, and more. Come ready for ideas you can take home and try!
b. Quarterly Evangelism Workshops
Ready to dig a little deeper? Our Quarterly Evangelism Workshops bring clergy and lay leaders together in person for hands-on learning and practical tools for engaging in evangelism. Workshops will take place in different parts of the diocese, with recordings available online afterward.
Upcoming workshops include DIY Streaming Services on October 24 and Evangelism Planning for a Year on January 30, with additional gatherings planned for April 18 and July. Locations and further details will be shared as they are confirmed.
There’s no need to have evangelism—or lay leadership—all figured out before you come. These gatherings are places to learn, swap ideas, ask questions, and discover what might work in your own congregation.
