Beckwith receives generous grant from Holy Spirit Thrift Shop

Holy Spirit Thrift Shop has gifted Beckwith Camp & Conference Center with a grant in the amount of $10,000. Eleanor Reeves, executive director, reports that the grant will be used towards buildings and grounds improvements, including enhancing handicapped accessibility.

The Thrift Shop is delighted to present these monies to Beckwith and partner with them in helping to make this great facility even more welcoming and available to the people of the Diocese and beyond! Such grants are made possible by the wonderful work of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors, and the loyalty of our shoppers.

The Holy Spirit Thrift Shop is an outreach ministry of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Gulf Shores, AL. The store is located at 6798 Hwy 59. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Donations of gently used clothing, furniture and household goods are gladly received each day the store is open from 10:00 am until 1/2 hour before closing.
