St. Matthew’s, Chipley, parks cars and raises $700 for Wilmer Hall

Members and friends of St. Matthew’s, Chipley, enjoyed a day of fellowship and fun parking cars on the church property during the annual Washington County Watermelon Festival. Church members have parked cars for the last few years requesting donations from the community for their youth activities. But this year, they decided to donate the proceeds to the Wilmer Hall Children’s Home. Volunteers were pleased by the community’s response and support, raising over $700 for Wilmer Hall.
