St. John’s, Monroeville, hosts school groups for “Mockingbird”
The 8th grade of the Episcopal Day School, Pensacola, recently attended “To Kill a Mockingbird” in Monroeville, Ala. This was the third year in a row that Ms. Caron Majors of the Day School faculty has arranged this outing. St. John’s, Monroeville, has been happy to participate each year in providing lunch as well as room for the students to run around and get some of the kinks out, after sitting for several hours on the bus and at the play. Fifty students and faculty attended the play and then enjoyed a lunch provided by the women of St. John’s. The parish is looking forward to working with Ms. Majors again next year and invites other schools and groups to contact them if they would like to do something similar.
