Good Shepherd hosts Diocesan Altar Guild Conference

Good Shepherd, Mobile, recently hosted altar guilds from around the diocese, beginning with a continental breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Bishop Kendrick. The Rev. Mary Robert then reported on how

preparations were made for the ordination of Bishop Kendrick last July. The meeting closed with a session on making artistic and other items used at the altar.

The conference included altar guild members from Holy Trinity, Pensacola; St. Agatha’s, Defuniak Springs; St. Francis’, Dauphin Island; St. Francis of Assisi, Gulf Breeze; St. James, Fairhope; St. Luke’s, Mobile; St. Mark’s, Troy; St. Paul’s, Daphne; St. Paul’s, Foley; and St. Simon’s on the Sound, Fort Walton Beach.
