New Daughters of the King chapter at Dauphin Island

A new chapter of the order of the Daughters of the King was chartered December 6 at St Francis, Dauphin Island. Lamona Lucas, already a member of the order, trained the members and presented the charter to the Rev. Roger Porter, vicar of St. Francis. After installing the chapter, he admitted the following seven members: Jean Clark, Dana Herazzo, Sally Czepiel, Kathryn Carver, Diane Hall, Marolyn Greene, and Julia Willis. Following the service, the Episcopal Churchwomen honored them with a reception in Wilkins Hall.
