The Longest Night Service

The Longest Night Service is a Eucharist designed for people suffering with pain, loss, isolation and grief throughout the Advent season. This service will be held at noon on Wednesday, December 22. It is offered to all, but especially to those for whom the holidays are not joyful, but instead, lonely or even painful. In mourning, feeling alienated and cast apart from family celebrations, some people experience depression and sadness and yet are often compelled to “put on a happy face” for others, thereby denying their true feelings. With this in mind, we welcome you into this sacred space just as you are – grief, loss, pain and all. May this service be a place of peace for you.
