Screening the Documentary "Youth v Gov" for Faith Climate Action Week

Gulf Coast Creation Care is sponsoring two screenings of the documentary "Youth v Gov" in recognition of Faith Climate Action Week. One streaming session will be held via Zoom on Friday, April 29 at 6:30PM; registration required. A second screening will be offered in person at the Ben May Main Library in Mobile on Saturday, April 30 at 2PM. Both events are offered at no charge. In 2015, 21 young people ages 14-26 filed a lawsuit against the US Government in Juliana v. United States, alleging that the United States Government has violated their constitutional rights to life, liberty, personal safety and property through their willful actions in creating the climate crisis. The legal team representing the youth are striving to secure their legal right to a safe climate.
