Pilgrimage to Israel – October 2021

Haden Tirey of St. John's, Monroeville offers her personal appeal for the trip:

For the last 20 years I have dreamed of going to Israel.  I wanted to walk where Jesus walked.  I wanted to see, with my own eyes, those “hills from whence cometh my help.”  I wanted to feel the waters of the River Jordan and the Sea of Galilee.  But I couldn’t go on my own.  I would miss too much.  I had to go with a priest – and not just any priest.  It had to be on that I knew – that I trusted – to take me back in time, to walk those same roads that Jesus walked.  To immerse me in this living history that speaks to my soul and my heart as a believer.  That opportunity came in the form of the Rev. Thack Dyson, from St. Paul’s, Daphne.

In May 2018 a group of 17 left the states and began a once in a lifetime trip that would change me forever.  Did I say, “once in a lifetime?”  Well, make that twice in a lifetime.  Thack is going again in October of 2021, and I’m going back.  I think my heart and mind were so overwhelmed by actually BEING THERE in this holy place that I missed so much of what our amazing guide, Lior, was saying.  So I’m going back and I am wild with excitement!!

And guess what?  There is room for YOU too!  Unbelievably, there is space available – not a ton – but enough for you to join us on the best trip you will ever take.  I’m a traveler and I’ve been to many places, but not like this.  This is THE most amazing, jaw-dropping, heart-filling trip that I’ve ever taken.  Come join me.  You will NEVER be the same.
