Piano Concert

The   2019 2020 St. James Concert Series will begin on Sunday, September 29.   Pianist Benjamin Rollings will play at 4:00 pm in Green Hall.  

Mr. Rollings was first prize winner in the Pro-Mozart Society and numerous   other piano competitions. The recital will feature music written by composers   late in their lives: masterpieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Prokofiev, and the   late 20th-century Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu. The Prokofiev Eighth   Sonata, the last of the three so-called 'War Sonatas' will be performed in   commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Normandy Invasion.
