Michael Hey Organ Concert

Juilliard-trained organist Michael Hey’s organ recitals have been described as “flashy” and “exciting” (The American Organist) and “crisp, clean, and enticingly communicative” (The Straits Times, Singapore). As Associate Director of Music and Organist of St. Patrick’s Cathedral on New York City’s Fifth Avenue, he performs for hundreds of thousands of people each year. Not exclusively a solo organist, Michael’s musical output is greatly inspired and informed by numerous other art forms, especially by classical and modern dance, and he enjoys a widely varied career that includes collaborations with instrumentalists and vocalists, recitals for solo piano, and transcribing for organ and other instruments – all of which enlighten and electrify his solo organ recitals.
