Choral Evensong in memoriam Kenneth A. Karadin

On Sunday, April 21st at 5:00 p.m., the Christ Church choir will sing Choral Evensong, one of the oldest and most beautiful liturgies in the Anglican tradition, in memory of Organist & Choirmaster Kenneth A. Karadin, who served Christ Church Parish from 1977 to 2017. The Parish Choir will be joined by the Perdido Brass and members of the Pensacola Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Evensong will feature music commissioned by Christ Church during Ken’s tenure, along with Anglican Chant, the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in D by Herbert Brewer, Responses by Richard Shephard, and congregational hymns.
