All Saints Sunday Celebration

Rebekah Atkinson, Harpist, Guest Artist

All Saints Sunday is an annual commemoration of the faithful departed—those who have gone before us in life’s journey. This year, for the celebration Christ Church Cathedral will be joined by local harpist, Rebekah Atkinson, as guest artist. Atkinson is principal harpist for Sinfonia Gulf Coast in Destin, Florida, Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra in Biloxi, Mississippi, and the Meridian Symphony Orchestra in Meridian, Mississippi. She is often heard in venues around the Gulf Coast and as part of the Atkinson Duo. Atkinson and Cathedral Organist, Christopher Powell, will play together during the service and present a brief concert of music for harp and organ following.
