A Call for Prayerful Discernment Prayer Vigil

In these difficult days, Bp. Russell Kendrick has encouraged all in The Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast to join together in a time of prayer on Monday, February 2 at 6:00 pm. This is the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord, or as some know it, Candlemas, the service of light.

St. Christopher’s will offer a 6:00 pm service in the church. All God's people are welcome and we encourage all God's people to come. The diocesan office has provided the liturgy that we will use.

Reflecting on Scripture, prayer, and our shared baptismal calling, join us in a diocesan-wide practice of prayerful discernment—rooted not in uniformity, but in love.
