Vanessa Riutta named Diocesan Coordinator for Youth and Young Adult Ministry

Bishop Philip Duncan has announced that Vanessa Riutta is the new Diocesan Coordinator for Youth and Young Adult Ministries.  Vanessa is filling the position left vacant when Michael Drinkwater left to attend seminary.

Vanessa has been involved with Youth and Young Adult Ministries for over 10 years.  The product of an active church youth group, she went into adulthood as a member of Commission for Youth Ministry, diocesan Summer Camp staff, New Beginnings Steering Committee, and Youth Minister at a Parish in Clearwater, Fl.  Involved in the original inception of Vocare in the Diocese of Southwest Florida, Vanessa began working with young adults and is currently the President for Vocare International, Inc.  She has also served as an adult advisor on numerous Happening weekends and has enjoyed many years as a Parish youth minister.  Youth and Young Adult Ministry are her passion and she is so excited to begin this wonderful journey here in the Central Gulf Coast!
