St. Augustine’s, Navarre offering “Friends, Artisans and Fish Fry” on June 11

St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church invites the entire community to St. Augustine’s First Annual Friends, Artisans and Fish Fry on June 11 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day will include music, shopping and tours of the church.

“This is a fund raiser, sure,” said Fr. Anthony MacWhinnie II, rector of the parish. “But more importantly it’s a friend raiser. We want to have some food, fun and music with all our neighbors, and let the community get to know us better.”

Besides a wonderful fresh fried mullet lunch with sides for Adults $7.00/Children (Under 12) $4.00, visitors will be able to buy items from our vendors:

Meanwhile there will be music from local artists such as The Navarre High School chorus ensembles; the local band “Verger” (featuring Fr. MacWhinnie!) playing delta blues and rock n’ roll; “Ohana” playing Hawaiian music, and more!

The rain date for this event is June 18.

St. Augustine’s Navarre is located at 7810 Navarre Parkway in Navarre, next to the Lewis Funeral Home. The parish has been part of the Navarre community since 1984, and at our present location since 1985.
