My Living Water, by Holly Colclough
“My Living Water”
The anxious waves rush the shore releasing all their angst in each explosion.
As this energy and emotion crash the sand is refined.
Each granule takes on a new shape, and is never the same.
Although the sand appears to shift, it always remains firm, constant.
In the moment of calm, God whispers………
“Come to me. I am peace. I will listen. Run to me, I will hold.”
The contemplating, weary waves return to the sea,
Letting go, and letting God.
The burdens have been lifted, the trust reestablished.
The sigh of relief sings a new song…….
One of rebirth, renewal, one of Hope.
