How does faith form and guide the most basic unit of human society—marriage and family? Two married couples with families, one Jew and one Christian, will share how their faith has been the center of their marriage and families through the years. The Voits are active members of Ahavas Chesed Synagogue, and the O’Keefes are active parishioners in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church. Their presentation will include definition of marriage, preparation for marriage, the content, shape, and vows of the marriage ceremony, what a “Jewish home/Christian home” looks like, and experiences with children and extended family.

As is our custom, opportunity for open discussion will follow. As always, our programs are open to everyone.

We extend a special invitation to newly-weds and to couples preparing for marriage and to the clergy and mentors who work with them. We look forward to seeing you.
