Diocesan staffer attends “Nuevo Amanecer Conference”

Diocesan staffer, Carmen Kimmons, attended the “Nuevo Amanecer Conference” at Kanuga in November. Below are her thoughts about this ministry along with photos from her experience.

The “Nuevo Amanecer Conference has given me a great insight of this wonderful ministry.  In the near future, the Diocesan office will have Latino/Hispanic ministry resource material available for congregations to use.  We are planning to have an exhibit at our Diocesan Convention in February to inform others about this ministry and what other congregations in our diocese are doing.  Prior to our convention, I would like to gather information from our congregations that are involved in this ministry.
