Diocesan Clergy and Layleaders say farewell to Canon Mark Dunnam

On Monday evening, October 5th, clergy and layleaders of the Diocese gathered at a reception hosted by Christ Church Cathedral, Mobile to say farewell to The Rev. Canon and Mrs. Mark Dunnam (Dottie).  Canon Dunnam has accepted a call to be Rector of  St. James Episcopal Church in Florence, Italy.  The Dunnams leave later this week to move to the rectory of St. James Episcopal Church, one of several churches and missions in The Convocation of American Churches in Europe.

Canon Dunnam is a graduate of General Theological Seminary in New York City and was ordained to the priesthood in 1973.  He has been in our Diocese since 1981.
