Annual Bishop’s Dollars Request
The annual appeal for Bishop’s Dollars has been mailed to some individuals and emailed to some others. Bishop Duncan wants all members of the Diocese to have an opportunity to participate in this worthwhile program.
Gifts to The Bishop’s Dollars are an important part of facilitating the Bishop’s ministry to those who need assistance. The needy and elderly, service organizations and clergy and clergy families are able to turn to The Diocese, in times of need, for assistance.
By way of in-house printing and volunteers, this year the appeal is mostly “electronic” in order to save the cost of printing and postage. We are trying to use the maximum amount of every gift for the purpose it is intended; to help those in need! To contribute to this appeal, you may make your check payable to “The Bishop’s Dollars” and send it to the Diocesan Office at P.O. Box 13330, Pensacola, FL 32591. If you so wish to setup a recurring monthly ACH debit, please contact Jennifer Barnard in the Diocesan Office.

In the Interim
Dear Friends,
As of February 29, 2012, Cindy McCrory has retired from the position of Director of Communications and Editor of The Coastline to pursue wedding and commercial photography full time. We wish Cindy the best in her future endeavors and thank her for her dedication and hard work for The Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast. Over the coming weeks, a team will be working tirelessly to determine the future of communications in the Diocese.
In the interim, we ask for your patience, your support, your prayers, and that you follow the news of the Diocese on our Facebook page.
Thank you,
The Communications Transition Task Force

Trinity quiltmaker and artist merge talents
Quiltmaker Linda Dyken and artist Barbara Edgar of Trinity Episcopal Church in Mobile, collaborated on a quilt that Dyken submitted to the American Quilters Society International Show in Paducah, Kentucky in May.
