Bishop Duncan visits St. Augustine’s, Navarre

On October 17, 2010, the Right Reverend Philip M. Duncan II & his wife, Kathy. visited St Augustine of Canturbury Episcopal Church, Navarre FL.
During this visit the bishop confirmed Otto R. Smith of Gulf Breeze & Callum Lavigne, a student at Woodlawn Beach Middle School. Smith serves the parish as organist and Lavigne , along wioth his older sister, Amanda served as acolytes for the episcopal visit. The Reverend Anthony E. MacWhinnie II, Rector of St Augustines, assisted in the service.
Bishop Duncan also pronouced God’s blessings upon a cremains’ box handpainted by St. Augustine’s parishioner & Gulf Breeze resident Autry Dye.

The parish hosted a reception in honor of Bishop & Mrs. Duncan immediately following the service.
St. Augustines is located on Highway 98 next to Lewis’ Funeral Home in Navarre. Services are Sunday morninngs at 8 & 10:30 A.M. All are welcome.
