DR. CURRIN’S BOOK RE-ISSUED ON TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF PUBLICATION

THE SEARCH FOR THE LOST RECTORS, the story of Christ Church and the city of Pensacola in the 19th century with emphasis on the archeological dig that took place in 1988 under the church, has gone into a second edition in The Pioneer Series of the University of West Florida Foundation.   It has just been released with a new cover, some revisions, and soft back.  It can be purchased at the Tivoli High House and the Pensacola Historical Museum both on Zaragoza Street in the Historic Pensacola Village complex.  It also may be ordered from the University of West Florida Foundation, Inc.  Call 850-474-3118. This book also has pictures and articles on the rectors during the 19th century with special emphasis on the three rectors buried under Old Christ Church between the years 1839 – 1853.  The book also tells the astounding observations of archaeology student Gary Powell.
