St. Thomas, Greenville honoring Fr. Lindstrom with an Evensong

St. Thomas, Greenville, presents another in the popular series of Choral Evensongs on Sunday afternoon, November 8 at 4 pm. Choirmaster Charles Kennedy has assembled the finest area voices and musicians for a splendid eclectic combination of classical, folk and contemporary music. Former Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey preached at anevensong in September 2008 and was full of praise for the music.

This evensong is being presented to honor Fr. Fred Lindstrom who has announced his retirement as rector after over twelve years of service. Fr. Fred asked that at least one more evensong be presented before he left St. Thomas. Come early for a seat!
