2009 Advent Calendar available Sunday, November 29

the-coastline-banner-small-300x110

An online 2009 Advent calendar is now available on our website. The calendar includes videos and photos for each day, all of which was compiled and designed by the communications department at Trinity Wall Street in New York City.

The audio slideshows and photo galleries were generated by people across the Anglican Communion in response to a call issued this year by Trinity Wall Street. Within the Anglican Communion right now, there is tension over matters of human sexuality and authority, and stories about those disagreements often obscure the stories of hope.

In that context, and in the season of Advent, which is seen as a season of expectation before Jesus’ birth, this becomes a calendar that lets the people of the Anglican Communion say to the world, expect hope. In so doing, the people also say – through their actions – that rumors of the Communion’s demise are greatly exaggerated. Click here for the calendar !
